PRAGATI is a collaborative initiative taken by the department of ECE with our esteemed alumni member Mr. Suman Kar. PRAGATI is the brainchild of Mr. Suman Kar. He is already associated with Hasi Khusi club. The main motto of this club is to bring smile on the faces of the impoverished. He has joined hands with several NGOs to serve people – arranging shelter and food for Dunlop Fire Victims, distributing milk for the new born, education in the slum areas, Red Light Area and for Street Children, Books and Stationary for the underprivileged, arranging meal for the differently abled and old people.
PRAGATI has done some remarkable works to help the indigent which has been covered by many media teams.
The main aim of PRAGATI is to escalate the social welfare initiatives of GNIT, a tradition deeply rooted in the psyche of JIS Group.
